SUMMARY: The Software Developer will be responsible for the design, development, testing of the User experience for Achev’s technical solutions. They will participate in the development of application project plans and contribute effectively to planning and control as needed. The Product Designer will be a team player with technical management skills, a strong sense of ownership and the ability to communicate at all levels.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Reporting to the Manager, IT Support Services, the Software Developer will be responsible for the following:

  • Develop, write and implement application program and procedures for applications and solutions
  • Perform maintenance and changes on existing programs; provide ongoing maintenance, support and integration of developed applications
  • Write technical documentation; record applications/solutions delivered, test results achieved and approvals received in the provision of services to meet business goals
  • Participate in the testing, debugging and integration of accepted technological solutions
  • Manage the completion of task priorities and communicate status to management
  • Respond to requests from internal clients to investigate and solve problems with technological systems and/or improve business systems
  • Collaborate with other programmers on complex programming solutions as needed
  • Remain up to date on software applications and technologies that add value to the solutions and applications offered to customers

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor degree in a computer science-related discipline or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Understanding of Linux. (Ubuntu)
  • Python programming skills
  • Experience with Odoo Enterprise and Community editions (v 15 – 18)
  • Understanding of PostgreSQL
  • Knowledge on Odoo flows, OWL Framework and Odoo best practices.
  • Experience with Odoo Studio +
  • Strong problem solving skills and eagerness to learn
