More information about programs and locations can be found at bestbrains.com. Role Description This is a part-time, on-site Math & English Teacher role located in Courtice, ON. The teacher will deliver small-group instruction in Math and English using Best Brains curricula, ensuring that each student understands key concepts and completes assigned work. Day-to-day tasks include preparing and organizing lessons, reviewing student progress, providing constructive feedback, and maintaining accurate records of assignments and assessments. The teacher will support a positive, inclusive classroom environment, communicate regularly with center management and families regarding student performance, and follow center policies and schedules. This role may include occasional participation in training sessions, staff meetings, and special events to support overall program quality. Qualifications Candidates should possess strong Teaching and Education skills, with experience working with children in academic settings. Candidates should possess solid English Teaching and Communication skills to explain concepts clearly and engage learners. Candidates should possess effective Lesson Planning skills to organize structured, age-appropriate learning activities. Candidates should possess classroom management abilities, including patience, empathy, and the capacity to motivate diverse learners. Familiarity with elementary and middle school Math and English curricula, and comfort teaching multiple grade levels. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to track student progress and follow established processes. Availability to work part-time during after-school hours and weekends as required by the center schedule. Relevant education or training in teaching, education, or a related field; prior tutoring or teaching experience is an asset.
