The opportunity The Global Compensation Intern will work closely with the team to learn the fundamentals of compensation management. They will provide administrative support for base pay and incentive programs, help coordinate global mobility tasks, and assist in delivering corporate compensation resources to our HR partners.
The role

Job Grading Support: Assist in the global job evaluation process by gathering job descriptions and organizing data to help ensure pay equity across different regions.

Total Rewards Support: Provide administrative help for specialized programs, including:

Share-Based: Assisting with the tracking of stock awards and dividends.

Global Mobility: Researching visa requirements and organizing insurance documentation for international transfers.

Market Research: Help prepare data submissions for global compensation surveys and assist in analyzing market trends to see how our pay stacks up against competitors.
The Requirements
- Bachelors’ Degree in Commerce, specialized in Human Resources, Industrial Relations or a field related to either human resources or compensation.
- Strong analytical abilities and problem-solving skills.
- Comfortable handling multiple files simultaneously, with efficient and effective organizational skills.
- Good written and verbal communication skills (French and English).
- This position requires proficiency in a language other than French to support customers, employees or markets located outside the province of Quebec or requiring services in a language other than French, mainly English.
