They must be capable of working effectively both unsupervised and within a team environment. They are responsible for providing guests and employees with clean and sanitized utensils, dishes, glassware, pots, pans and equipment Job Description Requirements
Operate an automatic dishwashing machine that cleans dishes, glassware and cutlery
Hand wash all large kitchen prep pots and pans
Scrape all dishes ensuring food waste is separated from general waste
Return pots and dishes to appropriate areas
Sweep and mop floors and remove waste, food waste and recycling as required
General cleaning of the kitchen
Assist the Chefs and Cooks with other designated duties within their job classification
Handle chemicals in a safe manner according to CN Tower Health and Safety standards while utilizing WHMIS guidelines and procedures
Qualifications
A secondary school diploma is preferred
A minimum of one year of related utility attendant/ dishwashing experience is preferred
Working Conditions Frequent environmental exposures to cold, heat and waterMust be able to work in a physical capacity requiring lifting, pushing and pulling, bending and reaching.Ability to stand or walk for long periods of the day.Lifting or moving up to 25 kilograms as requiredFlexible to work rotating shifts, which includes but is not limited to evenings, weekends, holidays and overtime as required.Rate of Pay: $23.97 ($22.78 probation)
