Position Summary
Reporting to the Associate Dean, School of Interdisciplinary Studies, the incumbent supports student communication and accountability, within the OntarioLearn (OL) environment. The incumbent manages and analyzes Loyalist College OL databases. The incumbent is responsible for leveraging excellent communication skills to coordinate and create communication materials for a variety of digital mediums and audiences, including training and self-assessment resources, as well as maintaining the Loyalist Focus website. Advanced skills must be demonstrated in a variety of tools including MS Office, Banner student information system, CRM, various LMS, and the Adobe Suite (including Dreamweaver). In addition, the incumbent liaises with the OntarioLearn provincial administrators, the Loyalist College Bookstore, Publishers, Enrolment Services, Information Technology Services, Loyalist Accounts, and other OL staff.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Provides academic advice and guidance to current and potential students, including but not limited to students seeking transfer credits and Prior Learning Assessment Recognition and resolving technical issues
- Creates, deploys, and monitors student communications, including marketing and student accountability
- Leads the administrative processing of student accounts for Loyalist within the OntarioLearn consortium, ensuring accurate data management, compliance with consortium standards, and seamless student experience with the 3rd party
- Leads the development and ongoing maintenance of OntarioLearn databases
- Creates and maintains comprehensive documentation, websites, and database content for eCampus and LoyalistFocus, ensuring consistency, accuracy, and accessibility across digital platforms
- Compiles, reconciles, and investigates discrepancies for invoices regarding Loyalist hosted and registering college activity
- Leads the pay per student enrollment data process, and collaborates with Payroll, and OntarioLearn to ensure data integrity, accurate compensation, and compliance
- Participates in OntarioLearn and College events as required, such as open house, seminars, information sessions, in collaboration with the OL team
- Collaborates with internal stakeholders and community organization/businesses to support programming
- Analyzes data from Banner, Argos, and other College systems to problem solve, boost efficiency, improve services and supports, and spot and resolve inconsistencies to address errors and anomalies
- Coordinates to achieve compliance with deadlines and other measurables related to OntarioLearn, on both a cyclical and project-specific basis
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications

Completion of a three (3) year diploma/degree, or equivalent in Business, Education, Communication, or eLearning

Minimum of three (3) years of experience working in a variety of learning environments, technologies, and Learning Management Systems

Awareness of adult learning/instructional design principles is an asset

Superior written and verbal communication skills

Advanced spreadsheet and word processing skills

Aptitude for learning and applying new technologies

Experience working with customer relationship management (CRM) tools such as Constant Contact is an asset
