Job Posting Description:

This is an onsite role [#LI-Onsite]

Secondment/Contract: Up to 15 months

Are you passionate about developing and implementing a modern records program? Reporting to the Senior Director, Financial Technology and Compliance, you will craft, implement, and lead the LCBO’s records and policy management program. You will guide continuous improvement of all records-related matters, implement paper and electronic records standard methodologies and move the LCBO’s record program into the digital age, while ensuring compliance with records policy by the LCBO's business divisions.

About the Role

  • Lead and mentor a team to improve our policy program and ensure it meets future business needs.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain a best-in-class records management program, including effective and efficient systems and technologies, business processes, and retention schedules, to support compliant and effective records management.
  • Work with Legal Services, Corporate Affairs, and other stakeholders to provide oversight of the LCBO’s compliance with legislative and regulatory requirements related to record-keeping, litigation, and audits.
  • Develop, implement and monitor KPIs for enterprise records management and policy programs.
  • Work with IT to implement and maintain appropriate electronic records management tools and solutions across our organization.

About You

  • Post-secondary education in information systems, information management or a related field
  • Certified Records Analyst or Certified Records Manager designation or equivalent records management certification is an asset.
  • 10+ years’ experience in leading and implementing an electronic records program and significant experience leading a team of records and/or policy professionals.
  • Extensive experience in transforming records programs within an organization, with a focus on electronic records management.
  • Keen business insight, sophisticated knowledge and understanding of commercial business issues.
  • Ability to exercise judgment and tact in navigating relationships with internal business partners.
  • Significant ability to demonstrate initiative and to work both as a team member and independently.
