About the role

The Canadian Pharmacists Association (CPhA) is actively recruiting for a Partnerships Manager to join our Public Affairs department. This is a 12-month contract with potential for renewal based on performance and organizational needs.

We are a fully remote workforce and are looking for someone who is able to be fully productive, efficient and effective in a remote environment.

Job Summary The Partnerships Manager is responsible for supporting the growth and delivery of CPhA’s sponsorship and partnership portfolio across events, advocacy, education, membership and other strategic initiatives. This role will be the operational lead for partnership execution and account management through coordinated partner engagement and exceptional partner delivery. The role will manage day-to-day partner relationship needs, proposals, contracts, partnership fulfillment, cross-functional coordination and other partnership related activities. This role will work closely with the Director, Sponsorship & Fund Development and will contribute to strengthening CPhA’s partnership model.

Duties and Tasks The Partnerships Manager is responsible for, but not limited to: · Supporting day-to-day relationships with sponsors and partners across all CPhA partner initiatives to help deliver a seamless partner experience · Preparing and coordinating development proposals, partnership agreements, contracts and partner reporting materials to support opportunities and renewal among the following industries, pharmaceutical companies, medical device providers, natural health product companies, etc. · Supporting renewals and retention for all CPS listings and digital advertising opportunities through coordination, tracking and stakeholder follow up · Coordinating cross-functionally to support execution and delivering all partnership commitments, digital ad campaigns and ad listings accurately within established timelines · Conducting discovery and qualification conversations with incoming leads to assess fit for partnership opportunities and escalating opportunities as appropriate · Coordinating and executing booking, planning and logistics activities for conferences and tradeshows attended by CPhA · Supporting development, documentation and continuous improvement of partnership processes, timelines, reporting and CRM records

Qualifications Education University degree in business, marketing, healthcare administration or related field and/or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Experience · Demonstrated experience in account management, sponsorship, partnerships, client services or related fields · Experience managing complex stakeholder relationships with multi-level initiatives · Experience within healthcare, pharmaceutical, non-profit, association or membership organizations · Experience using CRM systems and project management tools (e.g., SalesForce, HubSpot Microsoft Office, JIRA, Google Workspace)

Skills · Strong relationship-building, stakeholder engagement and communications skills · Comfortable operating in evolving environments with ability to adapt quickly and build collaborative relationships · Fluency in French (written and verbal) is considered a strong asset · Highly organized and strong attention to detail · Strong project coordination and execution skills · Demonstrated ability to collaborate cross functionally without direct authority · Self-starter who can work independently within a fast-paced environment · Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and execute within a fast-paced environment · Ability to display a commitment to and advocate for diversity and inclusion

Salary Range $65 – 85,000
