YOUR IMPACT:
Reporting to the SVP, Cyber Engineering, the Vice President of Cyber Enterprise Product Management& Data Science will lead a global team responsible for driving the strategy, execution, and delivery of OpenText’s Cybersecurity product portfolio. This leader will oversee enterprise product management, advanced analytics, and applied data science capabilities that strengthen OpenText’s security offerings and ensure our customers are protected in a rapidly evolving threat landscape.This is a highly visible leadership role, partnering across engineering, product, and go-to-market functions to define and deliver scalable, secure, and intelligent cybersecurity products. The successful candidate will blend deep product management expertise with data-driven insights, ensuring the cyber portfolio evolves with market demands, regulatory requirements, and customer needs.WHAT THE ROLE OFFERS:

  • Serve as a senior leader within Cyber Engineering, shaping the long-term product roadmap with a focus on innovation, resilience, and customer value.
  • Lead enterprise product management across the Cybersecurity portfolio, ensuring alignment between market requirements, customer feedback, and engineering execution.
  • Drive the integration of data science, AI, and advanced analytics into security products to provide predictive insights, real-time threat detection, and automated defense capabilities.
  • Partner with Sales, Marketing, Professional Services, and Support to strengthen adoption, competitive positioning, and customer success.
  • Act as an internal and external thought leader for OpenText’s Cyber solutions, engaging with analysts, customers, and industry forums to build credibility and influence.
  • Oversee business planning, prioritization, and ROI assessment to ensure investment and resource alignment with strategic priorities.
  • Translate high-level business strategy into detailed product execution plans, tracking milestones and outcomes to deliver measurable business impact.
  • Recruit, develop, and retain top talent across product management and data science, fostering a culture of innovation, accountability, and collaboration.
  • Provide leadership across technical product strategy, architecture trade-offs, and data-driven decision-making.
  • Ensure security, compliance, and data governance remain central to all product development initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the product management function across Cyber Enterprise offerings, ensuring delivery of secure, scalable, and customer-centric solutions.
  • Define and execute the Cybersecurity product strategy, aligned to market trends, competitive dynamics, and enterprise customer needs.
  • Integrate data science and AI into core product capabilities, enabling advanced threat detection, automated workflows, and actionable insights.
  • Establish KPIs and success metrics for product adoption, innovation velocity, and customer outcomes.
  • Drive cross-functional collaboration to accelerate time-to-market and ensure consistent delivery of high-quality releases.
  • Represent the Cyber portfolio with executive leadership in Quarterly Business Reviews, annual planning, and roadmap sessions.
  • Stay ahead of evolving cybersecurity threats, standards, and compliance requirements, ensuring product readiness and differentiation.

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED:

  • 15+ years of leadership experience in product management, data science, or engineering within large-scale enterprise software environments.
  • Proven track record leading cybersecurity product portfolios, with deep understanding of threat detection, security analytics, and enterprise risk management.
  • Strong expertise in SaaS, cloud-native architectures, and secure product development practices.
  • Experience embedding AI/ML and advanced analytics into enterprise products.
  • Demonstrated ability to translate complex technical challenges into clear business value.
  • Excellent executive presence, with the ability to influence across C-suite, customers, and industry forums.
  • Results-oriented leader with a strong balance of strategic vision and execution discipline.
  • Prior experience building and scaling global product management and/or data science teams.
