Are you ready to play a pivotal role behind the scenes of Western Australia’s most iconic arts and culture venues? The Arts and Culture Trust (ACT) is seeking a dynamic Rostering and Administration Officer to help bring unforgettable experiences to life! In this exciting role, you’ll be the organisational powerhouse ensuring our venues run like clockwork. You’ll develop smart, efficient staff rosters that balance availability and operational needs, maintain accurate records of attendance and availability, and ensure compliance with internal policies and rostering regulations. You’ll also monitor staff certifications and training requirements, helping to keep our teams prepared and our venues running smoothly.
You’ll also provide administrative support to the Venue and Customer Experience Manager, managing correspondence, maintaining records, and completing other administrative tasks. Your work will support initiatives that enhance the customer experience, ensuring that staffing and administrative functions align with our service standards and goals. You’ll collaborate closely with the Event and Hospitality teams to coordinate staffing needs and facilitate effective communication across departments, contributing to the seamless execution of events and day-to-day operations.
We’re looking for a proactive organiser with a talent for multitasking and a passion for the performing arts. You’ll be detail-oriented, tech-savvy, and confident in managing schedules and administrative processes. Strong communication and collaboration skills are essential. Conditions
A current Satisfactory National Police Clearance (within 6 months) will be required prior to commencing employment.
Applicants for permanent positions in the Western Australian Public Sector must be Australian citizen or hold permanent resident status. For temporary (fixed-term) positions, proof of eligibility to work in Australia for the contract duration is required.
