JOB DESCRIPTION:
We are seeking a self-motivated, proactive and results-oriented Inside Sales Representative to join our industrial waste sector team. The ideal candidate will have a strong focus on cold calling, lead generation, and follow-ups to build and maintain a robust sales pipeline.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
The main responsibilities include:
- Cold Calling: Proactively reach out to potential clients through cold calling to introduce our services and identify new business opportunities.
- Lead Generation/Prospecting: Develop and implement effective lead generation strategies to attract and engage potential customers in the industrial waste sector.
- Follow-Ups: Conduct timely follow-ups with prospects and existing clients to nurture relationships and close sales.
- Sales Pipeline Management: Maintain and manage a comprehensive sales pipeline, ensuring all leads and opportunities are tracked and updated regularly.
- Client Meetings: Schedule and conduct client meetings, both virtually and in-person, to present our services and negotiate contracts.
- Quotations: In response to customer’s needs, provide formal quotations/estimates to complete the scope of work.
- Work closely with other business development team members as well Operations staff to help facilitate, administer & deliver superior customer service to our customers
WORKING CONDITIONS:
- Office environment, long periods of sitting may be required
- Visiting various employee work sites on occasion
- Ability and willingness to work at multiple sites
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- Proven experience in sales, preferably in the industrial waste sector or a related industry.
- Strong cold calling and lead generation skills with a demonstrated ability to close sales.
- Excellent verbal & written communication as well as strong interpersonal skills.
- Self-motivated and driven to achieve targets and exceed expectations.
- Strong organization skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficient in using Salesforce software, Microsoft Office, and other sales tools
- Ability to perform research and analysis
