The Position: Reporting to the Enterprise Service Delivery Manager, the Endpoint Solutions Architect will possess a unique blend of technical expertise (Architecture and configuration), presales acumen, and leadership capabilities. This role involves guiding technical delivery and strategy for endpoint management, including mobile device management, patching, application packaging, and endpoint security posture. This client-facing role involves experience in enterprise endpoint solutions using Intune, Autopilot, Autopatch, W365, Defender for Endpoint, and Azure Virtual Desktop. Acts as a subject matter expert in both pre-sales and architect contexts. Often responsible for interfacing with Microsoft.
Responsibilities
- Designs and enforces endpoint lifecycle processes (e.g., onboarding/offboarding, refresh cycles), ensures alignment with security policies, and documents procedures for consistent execution
- Interfaces with clients to understand pain points and translate them into service improvements.
- Plans for scale - e.g. oversee the implementation of best practices for managing and maintaining client environments, ensuring security, reliability, and efficiency
- Building Trusted Advisor Relationships: Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing expert guidance and recommendations to enhance their endpoint management strategies.
- Oversee and respond to incidents and requests to ensure timely ticket closure.
- Act as an escalation point for requests and incidents, helping determine root causes and communicating appropriately to internal and external customers.
- Identify needs, and respond or escalate opportunities, to grow the Client engagement.
- Support reporting governance and delivery.
- Collaborate with Security, Cloud, and Application teams to ensure cohesive endpoint operations across environments.
- Spend 90% of your time contributing directly to billable utilization
- Support the delivery of a client’s agreement and assisting in ticket management escalation.
- Perform Intune configuration, patching strategies, and compliance enforcement.
Requirements
- Expertise in endpoint management, with a proven track record of successful administration in an enterprise environment.
- Strong expertise in endpoint management tools and technologies, including Microsoft Endpoint Manager (Intune), SCCM, and others.
- Experience as a Technical Architect, designing the technical aspects of implementations/configurations.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to quickly identify and resolve complex technical issues.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and team members alike.
- Experience with Modern Endpoint Managed Services best practices for maintaining client environments.
- Relevant certifications, such as Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate or equivalent, are highly desirable.
Competencies
- Deep expertise in Microsoft Endpoint Manager (Intune).
- Experience with Windows 10/11, Azure AD, and Autopilot.
- Strong scripting (PowerShell, KQL) and troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent communication and client engagement capabilities.
- Background in Microsoft technology solution development and delivery
- Stays current with evolving endpoint technologies (e.g., Windows 11, macOS updates, MDM solutions) as they apply to enterprise company environments.
- Values certifications and hands-on labs.
- Excellent time management, organizational, and prioritization skills and ability to balance multiple priorities
