Overview We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Concrete Finisher to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will have experience in concrete finishing, masonry, and related trades, with a strong understanding of blueprint reading and construction processes. This role involves working on various projects including commercial, residential, and restoration sites, ensuring high-quality finishes and adherence to safety standards.

Duties

• Finish concrete surfaces using hand tools and power tools to achieve smooth, level, and durable results
• Install rebar and formwork according to schematics and blueprints, ensuring structural integrity
• Operate heavy equipment safely for concrete placement and finishing tasks
• Perform masonry work, including caulking, flooring installation, and restoration projects
• Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings to execute project specifications accurately
• Assist with concrete forming, welding, carpentry, and other related construction activities as needed
• Conduct heavy lifting of materials and equipment to support project requirements
• Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools and disposing of debris properly
• Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines while maintaining safety standards

Skills

• Mechanical knowledge relevant to construction tools and equipment operation
• Proficiency in rebar installation, concrete forming, and masonry techniques
• Experience with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and flooring installation
• Ability to read schematics and blueprints effectively for precise execution of tasks
• Strong understanding of construction safety protocols and procedures
• Knowledge of restoration techniques and renovation processes within the construction industry
