Marketing Coordinator
SalonCentric is the premier national distributor of salon professional products in the U.S. Created by L’Oréal USA in 2008, with 585 SalonCentric stores and 260 StateǀRDA stores in the US. Today, SalonCentric is expanding in Canada, with its first presence in Ontario (2023), British Columbia (2024), and Quebec (2025).

Key Responsibilities:
- Support the marketing team in the organization and execution of various projects.
- Coordinate multi-brand creative assets and efficiently manage the marketing team's Share Drive.
- Develop and schedule a monthly social media calendar, posting content across multiple accounts.
- Engage directly with clients through social channels, fostering trusting relationships.
- Execute daily Social PR activities, including interacting with client posts, tagged content, and top prospects (referred to as "social flirting").
- Manage and coordinate monthly social contests.
- Coordinate and onboard customer-facing social accounts.
- Design weekly social media content using InDesign templates.
- Compose Multi-Brand Promotional Calendars.
- Assist with e-commerce product images, utilizing Photoshop/InDesign for creation and file conversions (e.g., TIFF to PNG).
- Create, update, and maintain comprehensive databases of vendor ambassadors and social media influencers.
- Generate monthly data reports on social and digital metrics/KPIs (Key Performance Indicators).
- Develop compelling digital and social campaign presentations.
- Assist in capturing store events for both print and digital publications.
Qualifications and Skills:
- 3 years of progressive experience in a Marketing Coordinator role, ideally within a multi-brand or franchise head office environment.
- Professional beauty industry experience, particularly within the hair industry, is a significant asset.
- Exceptional administrative skills, including a meticulous eye for detail and the ability to manage complex filing systems for the marketing team.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and decision-making abilities.
- Highly motivated self-starter with exceptional time management skills and a strong work ethic.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities and tight deadlines effectively.
- Resourceful, committed, and a proactive self-learner.
- Excellent task management skills.
- Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft PC environment, including Teams, SharePoint, and Chat (demonstrated advanced understanding and ability to manage multiple SharePoint channels is essential).
- Advanced Adobe Suite proficiency: InDesign, Photoshop, and Acrobat Pro are required for this role. Premiere Pro and Illustrator are considered additional assets.
- Advanced knowledge of Sprout Social and navigating multiple social accounts.
- Proven experience in strategic social media planning, including developing comprehensive social calendars.
- Demonstrated ability in managing daily/weekly social engagements and responses, fostering community interaction.
- Bilingualism (English and French) is highly valued, and a strong preference will be given to bilingual applicants.
