Physiotherapy Assistant/Care Coodinator Lifemark - Fairvale Physiotherapy - pt Health

We are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic individual for a unique dual role at our clinic. This position will involve approximately 60-70% Physiotherapy Assistant-PTA responsibilities and 30-40% Clinic Coordinator-CCR duties. This will be a part-time casual role, which may involve filling in for coverage at some of our other clinics in the Saint John area. University students with an interest in Healthcare are encouraged to apply!

Qualifications & Core Competencies:
- Excellent customer service skills and telephone etiquette.
- Excellent English communication and interpersonal skills.
- Computer savvy and data entry skills in a physiotherapy clinic setting will be an asset.
- Flexible and adaptable to change.
- PTA diploma or Medical Administrator Diploma would be an asset, but is not required.
- A high degree of organizational and multi-tasking skills in a busy and fast-paced work environment
Key Responsibilities: Physiotherapy Assistant - PTA
- Assisting physiotherapists with client care; including the use of ultrasound equipment, exercise programs etc.
- Work cooperatively with clients to set and achieve functional goals
- Maintenance and cleaning/sterilization of medical equipment
- Inventory of clinical supplies.
- Maintain accurate patient records.
- Provide support to ensure effective patient care.
Clinic Coordinator - CCR
- Answer telephone calls, greet patients and visitors upon arrival, and provide excellent customer service for all questions or concerns..
- Handle administrative tasks, including billing and inventory management, as well as Assist patients with completing paperwork at the clinic
- Ensure a welcoming and efficient environment for patients and staff.
- Coordinate scheduling of patient appointments and maintain the patient's medical record.
- Provide administrative support to the Care Coordinator Manager and Clinic Director.
- Perform general administrative duties as needed.
