The Opportunity:
Postmedia is looking for a talented Senior Programmatic Trader. Reporting to the Manager, Programmatic Operations, the successful candidate will have a passion for online advertising, strong digital acumen and be eager to work hard, learn, and grow within the programmatic digital landscape. The Senior Programmatic Trader will have support from Trader and Campaign Specialist to help with campaign setups, creative trafficking, pixel configuration, reporting and optimization.

What you’ll do:

  • Execute and manage a variety of campaigns across various platforms - display, video, Youtube, audio, Connected TV and DOOH.
  • Analyze and optimize campaign performance to meet and exceed client goals and expectations, measuring against established KPIs, such as CPA and ROAS.
  • Serve as a subject matter to the campaign specialists and traders in the team to execute on business objectives and achieve results, supporting in day to day as required.
  • Work closely with all stakeholders to ensure campaign success, participating in kick-off and client calls when required.
  • Monitor campaigns performance, pacing and margins to provide strategy, campaign recommendations, reports & insightful findings to Sales and clients.
  • Manage campaign expectation and communicate upsell opportunities to Sales
  • Educate stakeholders on programmatic offering, programmatic setup, optimizations and best practices.
  • Provide ideas to improve process, campaign build, and optimizations for the team.
  • Work on ad-hoc projects.

Who you are:

  • 3+ years of experience in programmatic buying, campaign analysis and optimization
  • Experience working with industry recognized technology platforms (i.e. ad-servers, DSPs, DMPs), Display and video 360 & Campaign Manager 360 preferred
  • Candidate must have a passion for numbers and analysis.
  • Degree in Advertising, Marketing, Business, Statistics, Finance, or Economics preferred
  • Detail-oriented, curious, proactive and resourceful
  • Ability to work under pressure, meet deadline and manage volume.
  • Excellent organization and communication skills.
  • Understanding of attribution models, customer journey, ROAS, ROI and advertising metrics.
  • Expert level in Excel; you can create advanced report and dashboard.

Compensation:
Employment offers presented to the selected candidate are based on a combination of qualifications, experience, responsibilities of the role and the candidate's location.

Base Salary: $65,000-$75,000
