About the role

What you'll do:

Practice Leadership

  • Lead and grow the front-end development practice.
  • Promote ongoing learning and subject matter expertise through seminars, trainings, and mentorship.
  • Support the adoption of AI and low-code development tools to improve efficiency and quality.
  • Track industry trends and evaluate their relevance for front-end development practices.
  • Implement and maintain standards and guardrails for consistent front-end development across squads.
  • Drive adoption of approved tooling solutions within the practice.
  • Foster a culture of excellence and Agile leadership.

People Development

  • Align with Enterprise Architecture and Platform teams to ensure adherence to standards.
  • Track and support achievement of practice-level OKRs.
  • Champion consistent adherence to front-end development standards.
  • Manage performance and development goals for practice members, collecting feedback from squad leaders.

Resourcing & Team Management

  • Set development goals and manage performance for front-end developers.
  • Oversee skill development and performance of team members.
  • Ensure squads benefit from chapter expertise and adhere to engineering standards.

Collaboration & Alignment

  • Work with Agile Acceleration to ensure practice aligns with agile methodologies.
  • Partner with Tech Governance & Architecture for alignment with enterprise architecture standards.
  • Collaborate with other practice managers to support integrated delivery and continuous improvement.

Accountabilities & Metrics

  • Adoption rate of practice standards and templates
  • Developer satisfaction and engagement
  • Code quality (defect ratio)
  • Developer efficiency (commits, lines of code, story points, cycle time)
  • AI/tool adoption and benefits (usage metrics, and AI driven outcomes)

Our typical hiring range is between $79,000 and $131,000 Salary decisions are also dependent on other factors such as your experience, job-related knowledge, skills and competencies, market location, industry benchmarks, internal equity and other role-specific requirements.
