We are hiring professional and dependable guards for a busy 11-storey commercial property. This role is ideal for individuals who combine strong customer service, physical capability, and calm, professional authority in a dynamic commercial environment.
This is a hands-on assignment requiring active patrols, sound judgment, and a visible professional presence.
Job Duties
- Conduct regular patrols throughout an 11-storey building, including stairwells
- Complete up to one-hour continuous patrols
- Maintain and enforce access control procedures for tenants, visitors, and contractors
- Manage interactions with unauthorized or vulnerable individuals using respectful communication and de-escalation techniques
- Maintain a visible, professional security presence
- Deliver excellent customer service to tenants and visitors
- Complete accurate patrol and incident reports
Qualifications
- Physically able to stand, walk, and descend stairs for extended periods
- Strong communication and observation skills
- Calm, professional approach in challenging situations
- High standard of appearance, professionalism, and conduct
- Reliable, punctual, and comfortable working independently
- Valid security license
- Emergency First Aid
- Military, law enforcement, security, or customer-facing experience is an asset
