About the role

Open Door Group (ODG), a trailblazing non-profit organization serving communities across Canada, is looking for a Service Delivery Supervisor to join our team.

Salary: $33.99 to $35.38 per hour (Grid 38, Health Sciences Association Community Bargaining Agreement)

Status: Full-Time, Permanent

Hours of Work: 36 Hours per week

Location: The primary work location for this position will be the Open Door Group Vancouver offices at West Pender and Burrard but will have secondary work locations of all Open Door Group sites in the Vancouver area as needed.

We are seeking a Service Delivery Supervisor to lead and support a dynamic team in delivering high-quality employment and community services. This role combines staff supervision, program administration, and direct client support to ensure effective service delivery and positive outcomes.

The Supervisor will coach and mentor staff, oversee daily operations, and foster a collaborative, client-focused culture. Key responsibilities include scheduling and team support, ensuring compliance with policies and contractual requirements, and maintaining accurate reporting. You will also build strong relationships with employers, community partners, and service providers to create wrap-around supports that help clients achieve their goals.

What you bring to the position:

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in social services, or a related equivalent.
  • Recent, related experience of two (2) years. Or an acceptable equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
  • Non-Violent Crisis Intervention Training (can be acquired after hire)
  • Mental Health First Aid Training (can be acquired after hire)
  • CCDP Certification is considered an asset.
  • Must pass a criminal background check.

Communication & Interpersonal Skills

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to build positive relationships with diverse clients, staff, and partners.
  • Skilled in conflict resolution and public speaking.
  • Collaborative team player with the ability to work independently.

Leadership Skills

  • Proven ability to coach, mentor, and supervise staff.
  • Experience fostering a positive, high-performing team culture.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to hold staff accountable while supporting professional growth.

Service Delivery Experience

  • Knowledge of service delivery policies, procedures, and career development practices.
  • Experience applying trauma-informed principles in client services.
  • Ability to guide clients through service pathways and adapt support to individual needs.
  • Skilled in case management, reporting, and program compliance.
