About the role
Our client, a well-established global organization, is seeking an EHS Administrator to support its safety team by managing Workers’ Compensation Board (WCB) claims and modified work programs. This role plays a key part in injury prevention, return-to-work coordination, and overall safety initiatives.
Your Success Will Be Defined By Your Ability To
- Coordinate all WCB claims, including new and ongoing cases, with a focus on minimizing lost time and facilitating recovery and return-to-work.
- Collaborate with internal teams to develop and maintain Physical Demand Analyses (PDAs) for all roles.
- Utilize PDAs to support injury prevention, claim management, and modified work planning.
- Support initiatives aimed at reducing workplace injuries and associated costs.
- Ensure confidentiality and compliance with privacy legislation.
- Manage return-to-work programs, ensuring modified duties are clearly defined and followed.
- Handle claim disputes or appeals when necessary.
- Prepare reports on claims history, lost time, and industry premium ratings.
- Assist the EHS team with various safety-related projects
Your strengths include:
- Proven experience managing WCB claims and return-to-work programs.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent organizational abilities and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Background in health and safety is considered an asset.
