Job Description We are seeking an experienced Senior Oracle Database Administrator / Database Analyst with 10+ years of hands-on experience in Oracle database administration, database design, performance tuning, migration, and optimization. The ideal candidate will have expertise managing Oracle 10g, 11g, 12c, and 19c databases in large enterprise environments and leading Oracle database migration projects to Oracle 19c or higher across on-premises and cloud infrastructures. Key Responsibilities Design, implement, administer, and maintain Oracle database environments, ensuring high availability, security, and performance. Perform database optimization, capacity planning, installation, migration, backup, recovery, and performance tuning. Manage and monitor Oracle 10g, 11g, 12c, and 19c databases in large multi-tenant enterprise environments. Design, build, and configure Oracle Database Servers on Windows, Linux, and Solaris platforms. Lead enterprise Oracle database migration projects to Oracle 19c or higher, including planning, execution, testing, and post-migration support. Support Oracle databases used by enterprise applications including Siebel, Java, ArcGIS, and Oracle APEX. Ensure database security through auditing, access controls, encryption, and compliance with organizational security standards. Perform complex database analysis, troubleshooting, performance tuning, and issue resolution. Support Oracle technologies including Oracle RAC, Data Guard, TDE, OEM 13c/OMS, and replicated database environments. Provide database administration support for both on-premises and cloud (GoCloud) environments. Coordinate database refreshes, upgrades, patching, maintenance releases, and implementation planning. Participate in architecture, solution design, and technical planning for new database initiatives. Document technical procedures, migration plans, and operational processes to facilitate knowledge transfer. Identify technical risks and recommend mitigation strategies. Collaborate with cross-functional teams and provide technical guidance throughout project lifecycles. Required Qualifications 10+ years of experience in Oracle Database Administration and Database Analysis. Strong experience with: Oracle Database 10g, 11g, 12c, and 19c Database optimization and performance tuning Capacity planning Installation, configuration, and migration Backup and recovery Database security and auditing Experience migrating end-of-life Oracle databases to Oracle 19c or higher. Hands-on experience with: Oracle RAC Oracle Data Guard Transparent Data Encryption (TDE) Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM 13c) Oracle Management Service (OMS) Experience supporting databases across Windows, Linux, and Solaris. Knowledge of Incident, Change, and Configuration Management processes. Strong SQL and database troubleshooting skills. Experience supporting enterprise applications such as Siebel, Oracle APEX, Java, and ArcGIS. Excellent analytical, communication, documentation, and problem-solving skills. Preferred Qualifications Experience with distributed database systems. Experience with middleware and gateway technologies. Knowledge of cloud database environments. Experience implementing cybersecurity remediation and database hardening. Experience with Oracle Data Warehouse, Oracle OBIEE, or Data Mart environments. Knowledge of enterprise architecture and CASE tools. Experience with ERP or Case Management applications. Understanding of Information Management principles and best practices. Must-Have Skills 10+ years of Oracle DBA experience. Oracle 10g, 11g, 12c, and 19c administration. Database optimization, performance tuning, installation, migration, backup, and recovery. Experience managing large multi-tenant Oracle environments. Oracle Database Server administration on Windows, Linux, and Solaris. Experience leading Oracle migration projects to Oracle 19c or higher. Strong expertise in Oracle RAC, Data Guard, TDE, and OEM. Database security, auditing, and compliance. Excellent communication and documentation skills.
