Job Description Manulife Wealth is seeking an experienced Portfolio Manager (PM) to join our National Branch as a registered Investment Dealer Portfolio Manager. This role is responsible for discretionary portfolio management for high-net-worth and institutional clients, delivered through Manulife Wealth’s national advisory platform. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong investment acumen, disciplined risk management, and a client-centric approach aligned with Manulife’s values and regulatory commitments. Key Responsibilities Manage discretionary investment portfolios in accordance with approved Investment Policy Statements (IPS) and client objectives. Construct, implement, and rebalance portfolios across asset classes using proprietary and third-party solutions. Monitor portfolio performance, risk metrics, and suitability on an ongoing basis. Participate in client meetings and provide investment commentary and education. Ensure all activities comply with CIRO rules, Manulife Wealth policies, and fiduciary obligations. Maintain appropriate documentation including IPS records and portfolio rationales. Collaborate with Compliance and Supervision teams to support audits and reviews. Required Qualifications Registered or eligible for registration with CIRO as a Portfolio Manager (Investment Dealer category). 7–10 years of investment management experience, including discretionary portfolio management. Strong knowledge of capital markets and portfolio construction. Undergraduate degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field. Preferred Qualifications CFA designation strongly preferred. Experience within a national or multi-advisor investment dealer environment. Familiarity with managed accounts and model portfolio solutions. Referenced Salary Location Burlington, Ontario Working Arrangement Hybrid Salary range is expected to be between $125,100.00 CAD - $175,100.00 CAD Employees also have the opportunity to participate in incentive programs and earn incentive compensation tied to business and individual performance. The actual salary will vary depending on local market conditions, geography and relevant job-related factors such as knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience, and education/training.
