We’re looking for our next Senior Mortgage Agent. Could It Be You? The Senior Mortgage Agent will support the mortgage brokerage in servicing our clients.
We are seeking a highly motivated and client-focused Senior Mortgage Agent to join our dynamic sales team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for clients, guiding them through their mortgage journey from initial inquiry to closing. This is a crucial role for someone passionate about providing exceptional service and leveraging technology to simplify a complex process. You will be responsible for building strong relationships with clients through digital channels, including phone, email, and live chat.

- Serving as a primary point of contact for inbound and outbound client communications via phone, email, and live chat.
- Conducting detailed needs-based assessments with clients to understand their financial situation, goals, and mortgage requirements.
- Educating clients on various mortgage products, rates, and the application process, ensuring they feel confident and informed.
- Pre-qualifying and pre-approving clients for mortgage financing, collecting and verifying necessary documentation.
- Providing timely and accurate follow-up to clients throughout the entire mortgage process.
- Collaborating with underwriters, lenders, and internal teams to ensure a smooth and efficient client experience.
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date client records in our CRM system.
- Staying current on industry trends, lending guidelines, and market conditions to provide expert advice.
- Proactively identifying and resolving client issues, escalating complex matters when necessary.

- Have a Level 2 Mortgage Agent License in Ontario
- Have 2+ years of experience as a Mortgage Agent
- Have proven experience in a Mortgage Agent role at a digitally native brokerage
- Have availability to work flexible hours, including some evenings or weekends, to meet client needs.
- Have exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Have strong relationship-building skills with a customer-centric approach
- Have proficiency with digital tools, CRM software, and communication platforms (e.g., Salesforce, POS, dialer)
- Are able to work independently and manage a high volume of client interactions in a fast-paced environment
- Have a high level of integrity, professionalism, and attention to detail
- Have familiarity with various mortgage products, including fixed-rate, variable-rate, and home equity lines of credit
Additional Kudos If You…
- Have a Level 2 Mortgage Agent License in British Columbia and/or Alberta
