Job Summary We are seeking a skilled Automotive Glass Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, repairing, and replacing automotive glass with precision and care. This role requires a strong understanding of automotive systems, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Prior dealership experience and mechanical knowledge are highly valued to ensure quality service and customer satisfaction.

Duties

• Remove and replace damaged or broken automotive glass using specialized hand tools and power tools
• Inspect vehicles to determine the appropriate glass repair or replacement procedures
• Ensure proper sealing and installation of glass to prevent leaks and wind noise
• Use heavy lifting techniques to handle large or heavy glass components safely
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety standards at all times
• Assist with related automotive repair tasks as needed, leveraging mechanical knowledge
• Communicate effectively with customers regarding service procedures and timelines

Qualifications

• Previous dealership experience or automotive repair background preferred
• Mechanical knowledge with familiarity in using hand tools, power tools, and other automotive equipment
• Ability to lift heavy objects safely and perform physically demanding tasks
• Experience working with automotive glass installation or repair is a plus
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
• Good communication skills and ability to follow instructions accurately
• Prior mechanic experience is advantageous but not mandatory
