What you’ll do
- Provide compassionate patient care and assist with treatments
- Monitor hospitalized pets and support recovery after surgery
- Restrain animals for procedures; help with blood draws, nail trims, feeding and bathing
- Run routine diagnostics (radiographs, bloodwork, fecals) and assist in surgery prep/sterilization
- Clean and disinfect kennels, exam and treatment areas; maintain inventory and stock
- Administer medications under supervision, answer phones, and deliver excellent client service
Who we’re looking for
- 18+ and completed a veterinary assistant program
- Self-starter, team player, multitasker with strong communication skills
- Comfortable handling stressed, ill, or injured animals; able to lift 40 lbs independently (assistance for heavier lifts)
- Physical stamina for standing, walking, bending, and lifting
- 1+ year experience preferred but new or recent grads encouraged to apply
