Description Du Poste Nous recherchons un Ingénieur Systèmes z/OS hautement qualifié pour concevoir, maintenir et optimiser l’environnement d’exploitation qui soutient l’infrastructure informatique z-platform de l’entreprise.
Ce rôle est essentiel pour garantir la haute disponibilité , la performance et la scalabilité du système afin de répondre aux besoins métier en constante évolution.
Le candidat idéal possède une solide expertise technique en internes z/OS , d’excellentes compétences en résolution de problèmes , ainsi qu’une grande capacité à intervenir efficacement dans des environnements complexes et critiques.
Responsabilités principales
- Concevoir, configurer et maintenir l’environnement d’exploitation z/OS et ses sous-systèmes associés
- Garantir la fiabilité, la performance et la scalabilité de la plateforme z
- Gérer les catalogues système et assurer leur bonne configuration ainsi que les procédures de récupération
- Réaliser des analyses de causes racines et résoudre les incidents en production sous forte pression
- Effectuer les installations logicielles pour z/OS et les logiciels ISV
- Concevoir et exécuter des tests fonctionnels, de robustesse et de performance
- Gérer et maintenir la configuration matérielle (HCD)
- Développer et maintenir des scripts d’automatisation en REXX
- Participer au support en rotation (astreintes et week-ends)
- Rester à jour sur les technologies émergentes z/OS et contribuer aux initiatives de modernisation
Compétences Et Qualifications Requises
- Minimum 10 ans d’expérience en ingénierie ou programmation système z/OS
- Excellente maîtrise des internes z/OS et de la gestion des catalogues
- Solides compétences en dépannage et diagnostic, notamment dans les environnements de production critiques
- Maîtrise de USS/OMVS et des processus d’installation logicielle sous z/OS
- Bonne compréhension de la configuration matérielle et du HCD
- Expérience confirmée en programmation REXX
- Excellentes compétences en communication orale et écrite en anglais
- Disponibilité pour le support en dehors des heures de travail et les astreintes de week-end

- Connaissance des technologies modernes z/OS : z/OSMF, REST APIs, Kafka, Ansible, Python
- Compétences en Assembleur pour la maintenance des usermods et l’analyse de dumps

Job Description We are seeking a highly skilled z/OS System Programming Engineer to design, maintain, and optimize the operating environment powering the firm’s z-platform computing infrastructure. This role plays a key part in ensuring the platform’s high availability, performance, and scalability to support evolving business needs.
The ideal candidate will have deep technical expertise in z/OS internals , a strong troubleshooting mindset, and a proven ability to deliver reliable solutions in complex enterprise environments.
Responsibilities
- Design, configure, and maintain the z/OS operating environment and related subsystems
- Ensure system reliability, performance, and scalability across z-platform components
- Manage catalog structures and ensure proper configuration and recovery procedures
- Conduct root cause analysis and resolve production issues under pressure
- Perform software installations for z/OS and ISV components
- Develop and execute functional, robustness, and performance tests
- Manage hardware configuration definitions (HCD) and related updates
- Develop and maintain automation scripts using REXX
- Participate in on-call and weekend support rotations
- Stay current with emerging z/OS technologies and contribute to modernization initiatives
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Minimum 10 years of experience in z/OS systems programming or equivalent roles
- In-depth expertise in z/OS internals and catalog management
- Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills, particularly in high-pressure production environments
- Proficiency in USS/OMVS and z/OS software installation
- Solid understanding of HCD and hardware configuration
- Experience in REXX programming
- Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal
- Availability for on-call and weekend support as required
Preferred / Nice To Have
- Familiarity with modern z/OS technologies such as z/OSMF, REST APIs, Kafka, Ansible, Python
- Experience with Assembler for usermod maintenance and dump analysis
