Job Summary:
Reporting to the Manager, Marketing , the Marketing Coordinator is responsible for assisting in the coordination and execution of marketing activities.

Responsibilities: Focus on the execution of all marketing communication plans, with a focus on activities such as, flyers, product guides, promotional offers, in-store signage, in-store events, web & social content. Complete timely reporting on marketing programs and special events, including providing insight and recommendation for future enhancement where required. Improve marketing processes for greater efficiency in production. Review and enhance in-store signage programs in support of flyer program and overall brand awareness. Organize and support in-store events and all marketing materials required. Coordinate quotes from third party vendors for print production, digital upload or media services as required. Maintain close contact with print/digital production vendors to ensure assets are produced, shipped/uploaded in a timely manner. Provide support to the Farm & Ranch Supply stores and Petroleum locations to ensure that they have the required advertising materials & collateral to support their business objectives. Assist with creating marketing communication plans as required. Assist with online catalogue maintenance as required. Assist and support all special event planning, co-ordination and execution as required.

Qualifications: Post-secondary degree/diploma in marketing, communications, Ag-business or related field. Minimum three years’ experience in business-to-business marketing or communications, special event planning & execution would be an asset. The ability to communicate effectively both in writing and verbally. Exceptional attention to detail campaign/event assets are organized and complete, and to ensure accuracy in reporting. Effective project management skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines. The ability to build and maintain strong relations with both internal and external customers. Effective interpersonal and teamwork skills to maintain effective working relationships with event staff.
