The challenges that await you
You will perform various technical and analytical tasks involving studies, reports, surveys, and inspections contributing to the conservation of drinking water to meet municipal, provincial, and federal regulatory requirements.
You will continuously monitor water consumption, conduct field investigations, analyze various data in the territory, and implement measures aimed at water conservation.
You will handle residential and corporate citizen inquiries regarding water meters and conduct inspections related to water use and compliance with regulations.
More specifically:
- You will report anomalies observed in the course of your work, investigate on-site possible causes, discuss with various stakeholders regarding water use, generate notices, and report to your supervisor;
- You will compile and analyze statistical data and write various documents supporting your findings and recommendations;
- You will participate in updating regulations, communication tools, and internal documents in your area of expertise (water meters and water conservation). You will submit recommendations for interpretation, application, or improvement of documents.
The ideal profile for us
- Education acquired through a college diploma (DEC) in water treatment;
- Meet the requirements of Article 44 of the Drinking Water Quality Regulation to operate a treatment plant and a drinking water distribution network;
- Have twenty-four (24) months of relevant experience in quality control, management, and operation of the drinking water distribution network;
- Have training in construction site safety (SST);
- Hold a valid class 5 driver's license;
- Experience in customer service is an asset.
