Position Summary
Under the direction of the Client Service Manager, the Portfolio Resource Coordinator plays a critical role in strategic scheduling and resource coordination for our Central Branch. This role ensures scheduling efficiency, supports compliance, reduces overtime through proactive planning, and provides direct support to our security officers.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategically identify open shifts/lines and coordinate with Client Service Managers to ensure full schedules.
- Forward schedules in Paladin’s scheduling software so Security Officers are aware of their shifts in advance.
- Fill cancellations and daily openings quickly to maintain coverage.
- Work closely with Site Supervisors, Officers, CSMs, and Operations Centre staff to meet staffing needs.
- Maintain ongoing knowledge of contractual obligations, including site visits and training.
- Take a lead role in Paladin’s deployment process.
- Ensure billing accuracy and compliance weekly.
- Use Paladin’s TEAM software to support accurate scheduling, payroll, and billing.
- Track staff certifications and ensure compliance with requirements.
- Provide portfolio support in the absence of the designated Client Service Manager.
Requirements
Qualifications (Must-Haves)
- Proven ability to build and maintain strong working relationships (internal & external).
- Strong leadership, organizational, and facilitation skills.
- Strategic thinking and problem-solving ability.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong customer service and multi-tasking skills.
- Ability to meet strict deadlines with flexibility in time allocation.
- Proficiency in computer use with the ability to learn Paladin’s enterprise software.
- Willingness to work flexible hours.
- Legally authorized to work in Canada.
Assets (Nice-to-Haves)
- Experience in scheduling, administration, or security supervision.
- Creative thinking to foster new and innovative ways to succeed.
- Previous experience working in a security or operations-focused role.
