About The Job The Registered Nurse:
- Provides diabetes education, supports diabetes management and participates as a member of the interdisciplinary team
- Has a strong understanding of adult education principles and change facilitation skills, in addition to excellent working knowledge of diabetes care and management with all types of diabetes – Type 1, Type 2, gestational diabetes, and pediatric diabetes
- Enhances quality of life for the patient and family; consults, confers, and collaborates with other health care providers
- Demonstrates continuous improvement and evidence based practice in nursing practice
- Maintains and advances own clinical competence
- Participates on designated hospital committees/teams and approved research projects as assigned
**This is a Permanent Part Time (0.80) position.
Shifts of work will be Tuesday to Friday from 08:00 to 16:00 hours.** About this Location Oliver, BC, is a picturesque town in the southern Okanagan Valley, renowned for its warm climate and stunning lake views.
