Duties and Responsibilities
Review and management of order confirmations, Pricing updates on Purchase orders Daily Purchase order entry as per Kanban system and custom Engineered Files Order follow up with suppliers Maintaining open order purchase report Cycle counts and entry into system Communicate with planning, production, and other departments to ensure customers' expectations are met React quickly to unforeseen and urgent requirements Contact vendors to follow up on late or missing shipments Other duties as assigned by Manager Check and expedite material required for production Assist with weekly KPI report clean up Assist with inventory management activities and programs Requirements and Qualifications: Must be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada Post-secondary education an asset or equivalent experience required. Ability to learn quickly. 1-3 years of Purchasing related experience. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Understanding of inventory management
Ability to multi-task, detail oriented, analytical, organized.
Experience using Microsoft office, Excel, Outlook, Word
