About the role
We are seeking a self-motivated rental salesperson who will work under the rental manager, performing various customer service and rental sales duties. Duties and Responsibilities:
- Full-time position
- Clearly communicate with the customer about their rental agreements and equipment operation.
- Assist a diverse range of customers in determining their rental equipment needs.
- Check equipment in and out with customers.
- Processing contracts
- Handle clerical duties using Word, Excel, & CDK
- Coordinate equipment repairs in-house and from 3rd party vendors.
- Perform a variety of duties to prepare equipment for customers.
- Promote equipment rental activity with new and current customers through various communication methods.
- Able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- It is essential for the applicant to be customer satisfaction-driven, with good communication skills.Qualifications:
- Candidates must be able to pass a background check, including a criminal history check, successfully.
- Class 5 Driver's license (willing to upgrade to a class 3)
- Willing and able to work outside when needed year-round.
- Ideal candidate will have inside/outside sales or retail experience
- Have some mechanical/electrical knowledge to be able to assess and diagnose unit functionality issues
- Professional/engaging personality with a willingness to learn
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
