About this opportunity
As a key member of the Finance team, the Senior Financial Analyst will assist in the preparation of timely and accurate monthly financial statements, balance sheet reconciliations for all consolidated balance sheet accounts and supporting analysis for financial statement line items. The successful candidate will ensure the necessary organizational and compliance controls are maintained, prepare quarterly balance sheet analysis and working papers, research and explain variances from both plan (budget) and comparable prior reporting periods (past business trends) and complete monthly reporting and analysis of business operational efficiency & effectiveness measures which will include both financial and statistical measures.
Starting salary: $85,000–$95,000 per year

- Perform month-end close activities, including journal entries and analysis of assigned accounts
- Prepare account reconciliations and financial analysis for balance sheet accounts
- Monitor monthly accruals and financial reporting schedules
- Complete quarterly balance sheet analysis for all accounts on the Consolidated Balance Sheet along with supporting documentation and explanation of variances as required
- Ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data in the accounting system
- Support external audit requests and financial reporting requirements
- Participate in process improvement initiatives and finance projects
- Other duties as assigned
What you need to be successful
- CPA designation or CPA eligibility is preferred
- 2 to 5 years of Financial Analyst experience
- A degree in Business with relevant finance experience
- Experience with month-end reporting (Bank Reconciliations, Journal Entry posting, Accruals, etc.)
- Proven ability to work with highly confidential information with professionalism and tact
- Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Office
- The ability to work independently and as an effective member of a team
- Highly organized with the ability to prioritize workflow
- Must be detail-oriented
- Working knowledge of NetSuite
