Job Description:

TD Asset Management (TDAM), a member of TD Bank Financial Group, is a leading North American investment manager offering progressive investment solutions to both institutional and individual investors. For over two decades, the organization has established competitive market positions in active, quantitative, and passive portfolio management. As of December 31, 2025, TDAM and its affiliates manage over $508 billion in assets on behalf of pension, insurance, endowment/foundation, and corporate clients, as well as high-net worth clients and retail mutual funds.

In attaining this client commitment, TDAM has built one of Canada’s largest and most respected investment management and research teams with more than 220 Portfolio Managers, Associate Portfolio Managers, Traders and Analysts.

The function of the Product Implementation team is to guide the execution of the product development proposals that are advanced by the Product & Marketing Intelligence team.

As Manager in this position, you will lead the planning and guide the execution of product development proposals across the TDAM Global Product department. This includes product launches, modifications and terminations. This position requires an understanding of TDAM investment products, systems, people, and capabilities.

The responsibilities of the position include:

  • Lead the planning and guiding the execution of product actions, including product launches, modifications, and terminations for all types of investment funds across all jurisdictions in which TDAM is active. This includes, but is not limited to:
    • Coordinating and directing teams across Operations, Compliance, Risk, Technology, and third-party service providers to plan and execute approved product development proposals.
    • Lead the execution of the operational work stream deliverables.
    • Organizing stakeholder meetings, such as senior management kick-offs, workstream lead status updates, operations status meetings, executive plan alignment sessions, and lessons learned reviews.
    • Ensuring effective communication throughout the launch process, including executive status reports and issue escalations.
    • Support the resolution of product implementation issues.
    • Conducting post-launch reviews to identify gaps between product development objectives and its implementation, offering guidance and solutions to address these issues.
    • Managing complexity and adhering to tight deadlines.
  • Provide analytical and/or process review support, research, and support execution of projects and special initiatives.
  • Participate in knowledge transfer to improve the team's effectiveness.
  • Support audit data gathering for product execution and remediation planning for the TDAM Global Product for example, remediation of any audit findings, leading error remediation.

Job Requirements:

  • A minimum of 3-5 years of related experience.
  • Strong knowledge of regulations, transfer agency, fund accounting, valuation, control, governance, and regulatory operations for investment funds with attentions to detail.
  • Proven project planning and execution skills.
  • Analytical thinker with intellectual curiosity and strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Adaptability to rapidly-changing environments.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft office software applications (Excel, MS Word, PowerPoint, Project, and Visio) and Adobe (Workfront) are assets.
  • An undergraduate degree is required. Relevant post graduate degree is an asset.
