What the job involves
- The Business Intelligence Analyst drives data-informed decisions for the Commercial Team
- Reporting to Associate Director, Commercial Operations, you will analyze supply-side markets, evaluate new business opportunities, and build data tools that support strategic and operational decisions
- Assess market dynamics, competitor benchmarks, and monetization opportunities across supply-side ecosystems
- Evaluate business potential for new products and markets identified by GTM, Product, and Partnerships teams
- Build forecasting, revenue, and pricing models to support planning cycles and scenario analysis
- Translate data insights into clear recommendations that guide commercial and product priorities
- Define KPIs, success metrics, and analytical frameworks with cross-functional partners
- Improve data quality, close data gaps, and deliver dashboards and reporting tools (Tableau, Looker)
- Support A/B tests and operational experiments; quantify impact and recommend next steps
- Improve commercial workflows such as billing, reporting cadence, and team alignment
- Identify operational inefficiencies with Finance and Operations, proposing automation or structural enhancements
- Contribute to incentive models, revenue tracking best practices, and documentation for forecasting and deal evaluation
- Partner closely with leadership, Product, and Commercial teams to ensure analytics align with business goals
- Question assumptions—at all levels—when data suggests alternative paths
- Communicate insights effectively through strong data storytelling
- Support enhancements to BI tools, workflows, and data infrastructure
- Authority and expected outcomes:
- Define KPIs and key data points for relevant markets or product areas
- Recommend analytical priorities and business opportunities
- Insights that surface and quantify new growth opportunities
- Clear evaluation of new markets and product areas
- Accurate, automated forecasts and dashboards used widely
- Recommendations that shape roadmaps and investment decisions
