About the role

Our NSCC team is looking for a student to provide administrative assistance to the System Control Centre work group. This is an exciting opportunity to become part of a growth-oriented organization and to gain experience and an understanding of the energy sector. This position is expected to commence on May 4, 2026, for a period of four months.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Assist with document management;

  • Complete the required Health, Safety, and Environment training for new employees;

  • Participate in team meetings;

  • Assist in preparing documents, presentations, and training materials for the onboarding of new assets;

  • Provide support to the Control Centre team for various related activities.

You should apply if you:

  • Are registered as a full-time student for the Fall 2026 semester;
  • Have completed a first year of university or college studies;
  • Are interested in renewable energies and working to help reduce Canada’s carbon footprint.

What you must have:

  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Suite, specifically Excel and SharePoint;

  • Strong communication and analytical skills;

  • Ability to work with minimum supervision and in a team environment.
