SUMMARY

About the Role – Spa Concierge

The Stillwater Spa Concierge will create a welcoming environment for guests visiting the spa. Performing a variety of tasks, such as answering phone calls and questions regarding spa services and products as well as about Park Hyatt Toronto hotel. Spa Concierge must master software in relationship to scheduling appointments, checking guests in and out, while demonstrating high levels of professionalism at all times ensuring both the confidentiality and comfort of every guest.

Some of the responsibilities include:

  • Book spa appointments
  • Receiving and issuing payments
  • Providing information to clients on retail products and spa services
  • Escorting guests to and from treatment rooms and waiting areas
  • Driving additional revenue by actively upselling retail products, promotional offers and encouraging repeat bookings
  • Managing schedules and confirming appointments as well as data entry
  • Embody the brand’s history and values and share your enthusiasm with customers
  • Welcome Guests and Clients upon arrival, obtain or receive merchandise, total bill, accept cash and credit payments, and make change for customers.
  • Post room charges accurately and promptly.
  • Wrap or bag merchandise for customers and invite customers to return upon departure.
  • Price and restock retail shelves when necessary
  • When booking appointments, upsell services where possible
  • Assist in training new reception colleagues on all aspects of reception duties including promotions, changes, product and updates to operation when required.
  • Handle all guest and client inquires and/or complaints in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Build a lasting relationship with customers, secure their loyalty
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Previous experiences as a Concierge required
  • Must possess a professional presentation
  • Outstanding guest services skills, sophisticated verbal & written communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities
  • Previous experience in luxury spa setting an asset
  • Previous experience with spa booking software an asset
  • Highly responsible and reliable
  • Ability to work well under pressure in a fast paced environment
