About the Role:
The Driver is responsible for safely transporting and delivering products and equipment to customers while providing best-in-class customer service. This role requires strong attention to detail, accuracy in order fulfillment, and the ability to operate delivery and warehouse equipment efficiently. The successful candidate will maintain compliance with transportation policies and safety standards, communicate effectively with customers and internal teams, and represent the company in a professional manner at all times.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate a delivery truck and complete daily delivery routes to multiple customer locations, including loading and unloading orders.
  • Represent the company professionally by delivering exceptional customer service and maintaining positive customer relationships.
  • Ensure accuracy and timely delivery of all products and orders.
  • Perform general housekeeping and maintain cleanliness of the delivery truck.
  • Conduct daily circle checks and complete all required logs in compliance with company transportation policies and procedures.
  • Safely operate lift trucks, power walkies, pump trucks, and order-picking equipment.
  • Communicate effectively with warehouse and sales staff to coordinate deliveries and resolve issues.
  • Maintain an acceptable driver abstract, and promptly report any incidents or accidents.
  • Report delays caused by breakdowns, weather, traffic conditions, or other emergencies in a timely manner.

What You Bring:

  • High school diploma
  • Class G Driver’s’ License (Class D would be a strong asset)
  • Acceptable Driver Abstract
  • Ability to pass a security clearance (required to deliver to certain customers)
  • Forklift license is an asset

  • Location: Ottawa, Ontario
  • Shift: Monday to Friday - 6AM to 3PM
  • Wage: Starting at $22/hour (based on skills, license, and experience)
  • Variable compensation: Annual performance bonus eligibility
  • Vacation: Starting at 3 weeks
