We are seeking an experienced Front-End Web Developer for a 12 months contract to support the ongoing development and enhancement of our corporate and marketing web properties. This role will focus on building high-quality, responsive web experiences integrated with a headless CMS and modern deployment pipeline.
You will collaborate closely with design, marketing, and internal teams to translate creative concepts into performant, scalable web solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain responsive, accessible, and SEO-friendly web pages.
- Integrate and manage content from Agility CMS and WordPress.
- Implement UI designs based on Figma specifications.
- Optimize web assets and content delivery through Netlify and CDN best practices.
- Manage and version-control code using Git.
- Integrate digital assets from Bynder into web applications.
- Ensure cross-browser compatibility and mobile-first responsiveness.
- Optimize performance, Core Web Vitals, and accessibility standards.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement of front-end standards.
- Troubleshoot and resolve UI/UX and integration issues.
Required Skills & Experience
- 5+ years of professional front-end development experience.
- Strong proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.
- Experience with modern frameworks such as React or Next.js.
- Experience working with headless CMS platforms (Agility CMS or similar).
- Strong understanding of responsive design, accessibility, and SEO best practices.
- Experience collaborating with designers using Figma.
- Experience using Git in a team environment.
- Familiarity with CDN-based deployments (e.g., Netlify).
- Experience integrating digital assets from DAM systems such as Bynder.
- Experience with Storybook for developing, testing, and documenting UI components.
- Experience building and maintaining reusable component libraries.
- Experience working in Agile delivery teams.

The expected salary range for this position is $86,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year, prorated based on the term of the contract.
You may also be eligible to receive an annual Incentive Award pursuant to our Short-term Incentive plan and our Long-Term Incentive plan (if applicable), and to participate in our group benefits and retirement plans – details on these elements of compensation are included within OMERS & Oxford offer letters.
