Collins Aerospace in Ottawa is a world leader in wireless communications networking, with products such as high-data-rate HF/VHF/UHF modems and the Self Configuring Relay Network (SCRN) for ad-hoc wireless networks. We are developing the next generation of HF radios that support significant throughput improvements and ad-hoc networking features, as well as developing Software Defined Radio networking waveforms for customers around the world.

What You Will Do

  • Assist with product packaging and kitting.
  • Perform inventory support tasks.
  • Receive, verify and inspect incoming items.
  • Compile and store records associated with shipments.
  • May support manufacturing build and test of current product line hardware.
  • Opportunity to work in a team and individually to assist with the preparation of customer shipments and moving items as part of daily workflow.

Qualifications You Must Have

  • Typically requires a University Degree and less than 2 years prior relevant experience.
  • Canadian citizenship is required.
  • Successful candidate must be eligible to obtain a Government of Canada Secret Level Security Clearance and Controlled Good Access.

Qualifications We Prefer

  • Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Detail oriented with strong analytical skills.
  • Good team working ability and self-motivated with a desire to learn.
  • Skills using Microsoft Office based tools would be an asset.
