The Role
As ourVideo Editor, you'll create compellingshort-form video contentthat engages our global audience across social media platforms. From ideation to final edit, you’ll bring our brand to life through dynamic visuals, pacing, and creative execution. Your passion for poker will inform your storytelling, ensuring content resonates authentically with our community.
You will work closely with the social media, marketing, and creative teams — not only editing content but alsocontributing ideas and conceptsfor engaging, high-performing videos that align with our brand and campaigns.
Requirements
-Fluent in English, with strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrableinterest in pokerand understanding of its culture and community.
- Proven experience in video editing, particularlyshort-form content for social media.
- Proficiency in video editing tools (e.g. Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Final Cut Pro, or similar).
- Strong sense of storytelling, pacing, and visual composition tailored to short-form formats.
- Ability to contribute creative ideas and collaborate on content concepts with the social media team.
- Ability to work independently, creatively, and proactively within a remote team environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Edit and produce engagingshort-form video contentfor social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, X, etc.).
- Collaborate with the social media team tobrainstorm and develop video concepts and content ideas.
- Transform raw footage into polished, high-quality videos aligned with brand guidelines.
- Optimise video content for different platforms, formats, and audience behaviours.
- Incorporate motion graphics, sound design, and visual effects where appropriate to enhance content quality.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Stay updated on social media trends, video formats, and editing techniques to keep content fresh and engaging.
