About the role
We are seeking a driven and results-oriented Account Executive / Business Development Representative with 2–4 years of experience in the IT staffing industry. This individual will play a key role in expanding our client base, developing strong relationships, and driving revenue growth by selling IT staffing and workforce solutions across contract, contract-to-hire, and permanent placements.
Key Responsibilities
Identify, prospect, and develop new business opportunities within target markets, with a focus on IT staffing services Build and maintain strong client relationships to understand technical hiring needs and deliver tailored IT talent solutions Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation through closing for IT staffing engagements Collaborate with recruiting teams to ensure successful delivery of qualified IT candidates and client satisfaction Meet and exceed sales targets and performance metrics Maintain accurate records of sales activities and pipeline in CRM systems Stay informed on IT industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activity
Qualifications
2–4 years of proven sales experience within the IT staffing or recruitment industry (required) Demonstrated success in business development and client acquisition, preferably in technology staffing Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and driven to achieve results Experience using CRM tools and sales tracking systems
Preferred Skills
Experience selling IT staffing solutions (temporary, contract, contract-to-hire, or permanent placements) Familiarity with roles such as software developers, cloud engineers, data analysts, cybersecurity professionals, etc. Existing network of contacts within the IT or technology sector is an asset Strong understanding of technology workforce trends and hiring challenges
