Jump into the dynamic world of Hydrovac Excavation with a hands-on internship at Badger Infrastructure Solutions! We're looking for a spirited and innovative individual who's ready to dive headfirst into the exciting challenges of our industry. As an intern, you'll get a real taste of the professional world, collaborating with our seasoned experts, contributing to meaningful projects, and gaining invaluable experience that goes far beyond the classroom.
As part of the Intern Program, you will be aligned with our Director of Talent Acquisition, but will have day-to-day interaction with your assigned liaison.
The Data and Analytics intern will work as part of our Data and Analytics team as we analyze datasets of varying complexity to deliver insights to improve business operations, as Badger seeks to become a data-driven organization.
The compensation for this role will be commensurate with education and/or experience.
RESPONSIBILITES
What You'll Be Doing:
- Assists in the day-to-day management of incoming requests for data and reporting needs.
- Assists in the creation and maintenance of metrics and dashboards.
- Supports Data activities at the enterprise level as needed.
- Assists in refining and maintaining the company's Data Governance framework. Supports the Data Strategy & Operations leadership team in the overall operations of the data organization.
QUALIFICATIONS
What You'll Need For Success:

Education: Currently enrolled in at least the third year of and pursuing a degree in a related field such as computing science, data science, business, mathematics, or statistics.

Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication abilities.

Adaptability: Comfortable in a fast-paced environment and able to quickly adapt to new tasks and challenges

Initiative: Demonstrates a proactive approach and eagerness to learn.

Creative thinker and problem solver; courage to challenge the status quo.

Advanced skills in analytics tools ranging from Microsoft Excel to SQL, Python, etc.

The role requires mobility within work environments, use of office equipment, lifting up to 20 pounds, clear vision and hearing, effective communication skills, and occasional travel for meetings and training sessions.
