Corgan is actively recruiting a dynamic Regional Studio Leader to lead and grow our Toronto office and establish our Data Center practice in Canada. This is a unique opportunity to shape the future of our presence in Canada while collaborating with a team of creative, motivated professionals who are passionate about design excellence and innovative problem-solving.

As Regional Studio Leader, you’ll play a pivotal role in driving strategic vision, nurturing client relationships, and empowering a talented team to deliver outstanding results. We’re looking for a leader who is not only passionate about design and business development but also eager to take on increasing responsibility, expand their expertise, and inspire others to do the same.

Responsibilities This leader will build the firm’s practice by growing and mentoring a team of talented architects and designers and pursuing business development opportunities. The successful candidate will establish the daily operations of the office, manage the delivery of projects, and fulfill client expectations.

Additional Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited To

  • Collaborate and strategize with our Data Center Market Sector Leaders and other leadership on project pursuits to maintain existing client relationships and establish new business.
  • Partner with our Corporate Services teams in the effective operational running of projects, the office, and the team.
  • Commit to design excellence, sustainability and ingenuity, as well as outstanding service to existing and new clients.
  • Establish credibility through deep project knowledge and strong project management skills in the Data Centers market sector.
  • Exceed client and business objectives by inspiring and motivating a team, developing their skills and encouraging professional growth to continue cultivating our Canadian presence.

Qualifications The ideal candidate must be a resilient leader with demonstrated business development success and confident project management and people management skills. The candidate should have experience with regular and successful interaction with a variety of clients and possess a flexible attitude and the ability to collaborate and encourage collaboration both locally and with our global offices.

Additional Qualifications

  • Education:

  • A CACB professional accredited degree in Architecture

  • MBA or other business-related degree is a plus

  • Certification:

  • OAA Registration

  • LEED accreditation strongly preferred

  • Experience:

  • 15+ years of experience with demonstrated advancement into progressively senior positions

  • Experience in successfully leading Data Centers, mission critical or commercial projects

  • Experience in leading and growing teams and developing talent

  • Knowledge

  • An in-depth understanding of the local Toronto and wider Canadian market

  • An established client base and track record of repeat client work

  • Strong knowledge and understanding of Canadian building codes and regulations with proficiency and expertise in the full range of architectural building systems

  • Familiarity with Revit proficiency strongly preferred; experience with other 3D software is a plus

  • Ability to share credible high-level guidance to project teams throughout all project phases

  • Profile

  • Comfortable in being accountable for the development and implementation of projects, while also pursuing business development efforts within Canada

  • High commitment to QA/QC

  • Leads by example, actively shapes the culture of the team in line with Corgan’s values

  • Strong organizational, time management and communication skills

  • Possess a flexible attitude with the ability to collaborate in a team environment and navigate a complex organization

  • Exhibit a strong aptitude for business development, strategic leadership skills, presentation skills and high self-motivation

  • Must have convincing design, project and people leadership skills as well as an entrepreneurial spirit
