About the role
Description:
Ordinary labour duty of a routine physical nature, duties may include but not limited to assisting in setting up and pouring curb and gutter, laying asphalt, assist in laying and tapping water and sewer mains, weed and grass control and all other duties assigned. An employee in this class shall be able to read and write and make up his or her own time sheet. Individual must be able to drive standard transmission.
Qualifications:
Applicant must hold a valid Saskatchewan class 5 drivers license. Must have or be able to obtain training in First aid CPR, confined space entry, H2S Alive, Ground disturbance and Fall Protection. Applicant must have a clean criminal record check. Previous roadway construction and experience of installation of water and sewer lines as well as 3A license is considered an asset.
Salary:
The salary for this position is$24.70 per hour as per existing CUPE Local 456 Agreement.
