Founding Account Executive
About the role
**TENDERD** is a global technology company delivering AI-powered operational intelligence for heavy industry. Our cloud platform and IoT sensors provide contractors, fleet owners, and industrial operators with real-time visibility into equipment utilization, emissions, and safety—transforming raw machine data into actionable insights. Backed by leading investors including Y Combinator, Peter Thiel, and A.P. Moller, TENDERD is now expanding into Canada to bring operational visibility and efficiency to the country’s heavy industries. **Key Responsibilities** * Identify, qualify, and close new enterprise customers through outbound and partner channels * Manage demos, proposals, negotiation, and contracting with support from the global team * Coordinate post‑sale implementation with local systems integrators and internal product teams * Oversee early customer success tasks such as onboarding schedules, hardware procurement, and basic project administration * Provide weekly forecasts, market feedback, and help craft Canada go‑to‑market strategy * Assist with office set‑up, vendor selection, and other foundational tasks as Tenderd Canada scales **Qualifications** * Experience in B2B SaaS sales, with demonstrated use of MEDDIC or similar sales methodologies * Strong prospecting abilities and capability to manage end-to-end sales cycles * Domain knowledge in construction, logistics, or heavy equipment is a strong asset * Prior experience in startups or launching new markets * Entrepreneurial mindset with a builder mentality and strong bias for action * Excellent verbal and written communication skills * Graduate
