Descriptif
The HR Generalist ensures the smooth running of the day-to-day activities of the HR department for their assigned project. They are involved in implementing HR procedures, maintaining employee records and providing support and guidance to the NGE employees seconded to the project.
The successful candidate will report directly to the HR Manager of the subsidiary. They will be responsible for, but are not limited to the following activities:

Assist with recruitment activities

Facilitate onboarding and integration of employees

Maintain and monitor employee files
-
Primary contact for employees, contribute to HR policy implementation
5.Team player and compliance with instructions

Payroll management and time tracking
-
Adhere to Quality, Health, Safety, and Environment guidelines
This posting is for an existing vacancy within NGE Canada.

The expected salary range for this position is $75,000 to $85,000 annually. In addition to base pay, we offer a comprehensive benefits package that includes health and dental coverage, retirement savings, paid time off, and other programs designed to support employee well‑being.

Profil recherché
For this position, the ideal candidate should have the following skills, experience and knowledge:
Essential:
- Higher education in Human Resources, or related discipline
- CHRP designation, or working towards it
- Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Bilingual French and English
Desirable:

Experience of working in the construction and/or rail industry.

Prior experience in a joint venture or alliance setting.

Excellent written, communication, interpersonal and presentation.

Good analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Good interpersonal and time management.

Reliability and discretion: you will often learn of confidential matters.
