What you’ll do:
We are seeking a dedicated Pharmacist to join our team in a full-time, permanent capacity. This position plays a key role in providing high-quality clinical pharmacy services to our guests. The successful candidate will work closely with the team to ensure optimal medication management and patient outcomes.
- Provide safe, courteous, efficient and customer-focused service in our Pharmacy Department.
- Provide patient focused services such as injections, medication reviews, and minor ailment prescribing to maximize patient care. Provide professional advice and counselling on prescription and OTC medications including indications, dosage, adverse effects, and drug interactions.
- Provides feedback, guidance and/or training to more junior Team Members in the achievement of work/project goals/objectives.
- May provide input into change initiatives based on knowledge of current processes/procedures/ practices within the unit.
- Resolves complex professional issues and refers, with recommendations, issues with impact to customers or beyond the unit to higher levels for resolution.
- Responds to situations using independent judgement to contain/mitigate immediate risk.
- Identifies and notifies higher levels of potential risks; obtains assistance from available resources as required; develops unit contingency plans with approvals from higher levels.
- Understands short-term, complex customer needs.
- Executes complex professional work under general guidance to develop/implement complex solutions and provides recommendations to new approaches.
- Perform administrative duties in the pharmacy pertaining to customer files.
- Communicate effectively with clients, interns, team members, health care providers and suppliers
- Assist with inventory management.
- Act ethically and professionally at all times with guests, team members, interns, health care providers and suppliers.
- Ensure outstanding courteous guest service is provided at all times.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Who you are:
You are looking for a career in Retail Pharmacy and:
- Holds an accredited Pharmacy Degree, with successful completion of the requirements to obtain continued pharmacist licensure
- Previous Saskatchewan pharmacy experience in Retail is preferred
- Previous Co-operative Retail experience is an asset
- You’re honest and trustworthy, are results-oriented and strive to be the best in what you do
- You believe in building relationships and collaborating to deliver solutions that matter most, and you recognize the value that different perspectives bring to meet shared objectives.
