A Day in the Life:
The Admin Assistant will report to and support the local department manager. Responsibilities for this role include data entry into tracking systems and plant spreadsheets, providing commodity and non-commodity accounting support, and supporting other local plant administrative processes, including plant metrics administration.
What You’ll Be Doing:

Support the department manager with tasks related to plant activity including daily production reporting, inventories, Daily Production Wire, monthly KPR reporting, monthly scorecard, downtime reporting, data entry, inventory reconciliation.

Monitor accuracy of purchase orders and OPEX expense coding.
-
Support Procurement/Maintenance by tracking invoices.
-
Commodity accounting including check runs, EFT clearings, monitoring payments, and related duties.

Filing and document organization, as required.
-
Month end reporting tasks for administration and commercial group.

Provide office support through cross-training and vacation coverage.

Provide information for internal/external audits.
-
Complete miscellaneous report requirements and respond to ad hoc information requests.

May assist in coordinating off-site training, supplies, and travel.

Assist with special projects, as required.
Skills/Experience Requirements:

High school diploma required, post-secondary preferred.
-
Experience or exposure to agribusiness activities and related transactions preferred.
