Tim Hortons® (CPG) is looking for a Senior Analyst, Revenue Management to join our CPG division. We are an entrepreneurial team of ~25 people managing over $500 million in beverage and food sales across retail channels in North America and internationally.
The Senior Analyst, Revenue Management will be supporting the organization’s efforts to optimize and prioritize our promotional trade investments which will fuel RBI’s growth. Your primary focus will be on providing complex and comprehensive analysis, insights and recommendations for revenue growth related items. This includes the creation and implementation of strategic frameworks, governance routines, and analytic tools that will enable you to deliver actionable recommendations to improve promotional Return on Investment (ROI) and Trade spend with customer teams. In this high-impact role, you will be working collaboratively with cross-functional stakeholders, particularly the Sales and Marketing teams to ultimately driving the growth of Tim Hortons® at Home products within Canada.
Position Overview
- Understand banner strategies and develop tailored promotional strategies to achieve and over-deliver on volume, profit and trade spend targets
- Use pricing models to support the development of our categories, portfolio and pricing strategy.
- Plan, support, and analyze promotional spend, ROIs and portfolio mix in collaboration with customer business teams through regular workshops
- Build strong relationships with the Sales and Marketing teams to influence pricing and promotional strategies
- Support in the mobilization and implementation of scorecard with customer teams to facilitate trade management & governance through defined and aligned Key Performance Indicators
- Manage pre and post event promotion analytics, including guideline development and changes to promo calendar for assigned customers teams
- Ensure transparent coordination of strategy deployment across all functions (Sales Strategy, Sales, Finance, and Marketing)
- Works in strong collaboration with finance and Sales Strategy teams to deliver on spend efficiency and rate compliance
- Works with sales teams to apply and execute trade fund guidance, strategic pricing, annual price increases and UMAP changes
- Work and influence in a cross-functional environment to ensure RGM strategies are executed through our customer business teams
- Ensure maximum utilization of our trade promotion management system (Exceedra)

REQUIREMENTS:
- Completed bachelor’s degree in business management, finance, or any other relevant field.
- Minimum of 3 years of business experience, preferably spent in CPG (Consumer Packaged Goods) industry
- Customer/Account management and Finance experience is a strong asset.
- Strong finance and business acumen, as you will be responsible for all lines of the P&L (Profit & Loss)
- Strong general industry knowledge
- Demonstrated analytical skills – the ability to develop and communicate key insights from a variety of sources.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast paced, demanding work environment
- Advanced computer and software knowledge (Microsoft Office, Nielsen, Retailer POS)
- Strong communication skills – ability to drive influence data focused conversations and decision-making
- Ability to work independently as well as a cross-functional influencer on multiple teams
- Highly organized, fact-based and detail oriented
- Coffee industry experience is a plus
