Job Description

Qualifications
What We’re Looking For
- Water meter installation or plumbing experience (preferred, but not required—we’ll train the right candidate).
- Strong technical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Basic plumbing and carpentry ability.
- Comfortable using handheld tools, computers, and navigation equipment.
- Positive attitude, punctuality, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable, insured vehicle.
- Willingness to work outdoors year-round and in confined spaces (training provided).
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Active HST number (for contract billing).

What You’ll Do
- Install, replace, and test Sensus water meters in a variety of residential and commercial locations.
- Use handheld computers, GPS, and programming tools to record and verify installation data.

- Complete accurate work orders and uphold Wamco’s safety and quality standards.
Work Environment
- Outdoor job sites in various weather conditions.
- Team-driven environment with strong field and office support.
- Company-provided uniforms and PPE are required.
Compensation
- Contract position with competitive pay based on experience and performance.
